Lav Supplies

I have been out of town all month and very busy. I was talking to someone about the fact that I was needing to write a toy article. She had a idea for it. So this month we have guest writer.

Lav Supply…

Okay, so you are probably thinking…what the HECK is a lav supply? It is a piece of plumbing that you can buy at Home Depot, Lowe’s, or just your local hardware store. It costs roughly $.75 and is well worth the money spent.

Lav supplies are thin whippy-type things about 18″ long. The ones I have seen are gray. They are used in the inside plumbing parts of toilets and sinks. They are flexible and lightweight, similar to a cane, but at a fraction of the cost.

When my husband and I first started playing, we had mostly wooden paddles. We wanted to try canes, but were hesitant to spend the money, not knowing if we would like the feel or not. Well, more specifically if *I* would like the feel *g*.

One day he was cleaning out his work van and came across a couple of these lav supplies. He had me bend over the end of the bed and SWOOSH….it is not EXACTLY the same feel as a cane…stingy, but sort of thuddy too, instead of just the sting of the cane…but very effective. It generally leaves welts or red stripes, but these marks don’t usually last as long as ones from a cane. For the price, it’s a pretty cool toy to throw in your bag, and nice to have a couple of extras to pass out to friends who don’t visit Home Depot very often.

***Thanks to my Guest Author…..I have played with lav supplies before and they do have a nice sting and I really liked the marks they made. ***
